Training
All community radio stations train people – whether an informal run through of desk driving with volunteers or accredited and funded courses for members of the community. The resources on these pages stem from two projects: Employment FM, funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation focused on using community radio for employability training, and a more general Training Toolkit, funded by Ofcom. Together, these toolkits aim to support both beginners and veterans in training enabling you to start or improve your training – boosting the social gain that you deliver and hopefully the revenue that comes to support your station.
Employment FM
Employment FM is a 3-year project, looking at how radio training can build employability & communication skills

There are a range of resources - on developing an employability programme, delivering a course, how to fund this, and everything in between. For an overview and introduction, see the Employability Training Handbook
